Compressed air leaks waste energy on every site, but food and drink production adds hygiene, safety and documentation requirements. EcoAir plans each survey around them.
Ultrasonic surveys are carried out while equipment is running, so production does not need to stop. Access, shift patterns and production restrictions are agreed with your site before EcoAir attends, and the survey is planned around your schedule.
EcoAir follows your site’s hygiene, PPE and contamination-control rules, including restricted and high-care areas, and works through your contractor induction and sign-in process.
Where compressed air comes into contact with product or packaging, extra care applies. EcoAir works within your site’s rules for these areas and makes no changes to the air system without your authorisation. A leak survey locates and records leaks. It does not replace air purity testing, which is carried out separately.
Each leak is recorded with its location, a photograph, an estimated leak rate and an annual energy cost. The result is a documented record you can refer to in your own maintenance and audit processes.
EcoAir understands the hygiene, safety and documentation requirements of food and beverage production environments. Surveys and repairs are completed using site-specific working procedures, contamination controls and traceable reporting.
Where a leak can only be repaired with the air supply isolated, EcoAir agrees the access, isolation and timing with your engineering team beforehand. Repairs can then be scheduled into planned downtime rather than interrupting production.
